Frequently Asked Questions
Online maths tutoring for Grades 5–12 (UK Years 6–13, Australian Years 5–12), from number skills through senior-school calculus. Lessons follow your child's curriculum: GCSE, A-Level and 11+ in the UK; Common Core, AP Calculus and SAT/ACT math in the USA; Ontario and BC courses and IB in Canada; the Australian Curriculum, NAPLAN and senior maths in Australia; and CBSE and ICSE/ISC.
Yes. Avani Academy already teaches students in the UK, the USA, Canada and Australia as well as India, with lessons arranged in each family's local time zone. Our country pages explain the year levels, exams and lesson times for each.
Both. One-to-one lessons give the most individual attention and suit exam preparation or catching up. Small-group classes suit students who are on track and enjoy learning alongside peers, and cost less per lesson. You can discuss which fits best during the free trial.
A live diagnostic session on Google Meet or Zoom: a short chat about your child's school and goals, a few questions at their level to find strengths and gaps, and a suggested plan. There's no obligation and no payment details are needed.
Lessons are live over Google Meet or Zoom with screen sharing, so Avani can see your child's working in real time and correct misunderstandings straight away. Your child needs a laptop or tablet with a stable internet connection.
Times are agreed individually and confirmed in your local time zone. Australian after-school hours overlap with Avani's working day; UK lessons are usually after school or at weekends; for the USA and Canada, weekend mornings and some weekday evenings are the usual overlap. Slots depend on availability.
Fees depend on the student's grade, curriculum, lesson length and whether lessons are one-to-one or in a small group, so there's no single published rate. You'll receive a clear quote after the free trial, with no obligation.
