Avani Academy teaches maths online to students across the UK, from Year 6 and 11+ preparation through Key Stage 3, GCSE and A-Level. Lessons are live on Google Meet or Zoom, either one-to-one or in a small group.
Your child is taught by Avani Shukla, an Electronics & Communication Engineer with more than 14 years of experience teaching mathematics. Lessons focus on understanding why a method works, then practising exam-style questions until it sticks.

What we cover
Arithmetic fluency, fractions, ratio and problem solving for 11+ entrance papers.
Algebra foundations, negative numbers, geometry and data handling — closing gaps before GCSE.
Foundation and Higher tier content, past-paper technique and exam timing for AQA, Edexcel and OCR.
Pure maths (algebra, functions, trigonometry, calculus) plus statistics and mechanics.
GCSE preparation follows your child's exam board — AQA, Pearson Edexcel or OCR — and their tier. Families who have moved from India can also continue CBSE or ICSE maths alongside the UK syllabus.
Lessons are booked in UK time (GMT/BST), usually after school or at weekends. Exact slots depend on availability and are confirmed when you book the trial.
How it works
Share their grade, curriculum and what they find hard — the form takes about a minute.
A live diagnostic lesson on Google Meet or Zoom to find gaps and agree a maths plan.
One-to-one or small-group lessons at a time agreed in your local time zone.
Yes. The free trial includes a short diagnostic so we can see which tier suits your child and which topics need the most work.
Lessons cover A-Level Maths (pure, statistics and mechanics). Please mention Further Maths when you book so we can discuss whether it's a fit.
One-to-one gives the most individual attention and suits exam preparation or catching up. Small groups suit students who are on track and enjoy learning alongside peers, and cost less per lesson.
