Avani Academy tutors students across the United States in math from Grade 5 through Grade 12 — pre-algebra and Common Core middle school math through Algebra 2, Precalculus, AP Calculus and SAT/ACT math. Sessions are live on Zoom or Google Meet, one-on-one or in a small group.
Your child works with Avani Shukla, an Electronics & Communication Engineer with 14+ years of experience teaching math. The focus is on understanding each step, so homework and tests stop feeling like guesswork.

What we cover
Fractions, decimals, ratios and early algebraic thinking.
Pre-algebra, linear equations, proportional relationships and an introduction to functions.
Algebra 1, Geometry (proofs, similarity, trigonometry) and Algebra 2.
Precalculus, AP Calculus AB/BC, and SAT or ACT math preparation.
Tutoring follows what your child's school is teaching, including Common Core-aligned courses, with targeted preparation for AP Calculus AB/BC and the math sections of the SAT and ACT. Indian-American families can also continue CBSE or ICSE math.
Avani teaches from India, so session times are agreed individually in your local time zone (ET, CT, MT or PT) — weekend mornings and some weekday evenings are the usual overlap. Availability is confirmed when you book.
How it works
Share their grade, curriculum and what they find hard — the form takes about a minute.
A live diagnostic lesson on Google Meet or Zoom to find gaps and agree a math plan.
One-to-one or small-group lessons at a time agreed in your local time zone.
Yes. Sessions can follow the school's pacing — working through current homework topics and reviewing before tests — while also filling earlier gaps.
Yes. SAT and ACT math preparation covers the core algebra, problem-solving and advanced math content those tests use, practised with timed questions.
Sessions run live on Zoom or Google Meet with screen sharing and a digital whiteboard. Your child needs a laptop or tablet and a stable internet connection.
